I am a great believer in the importance of continuous professional development – or CPD as it is known in professions like Accountancy. The way I see it, if you don’t keep improving, your work will rapidly start to decline, whatever it is you do. That’s why, even after many years of photography, I keep committing time, resources and effort to training – not so I can get more pieces of paper (as proud as I was to get my SWPP Licentiate qualification a few months back) but so I can give my clients the excellent service they deserve and also so I can retain the spark of excitement about my work.
Monday saw the last of my current mentoring programme with Damian ‘the Big Dog’ McGillicuddy, an extremely highly respected and successful practioner and trainer. However, that is not the end, as we have some exciting new developments lined up – which could mean some exciting opportunities for you too! Watch this space to hear more over the next couple of months…
Finally, why not consider having a fabulous portrait of yourself or your family as a treat this autumn – or even as a Christmas present for your partner or parents. Interested? Call me on 07870 853 140
And as a well-deserved reward for reading my meanderings, here are some images from Monday. The models are the gorgeous Nicola and my lovely friend and fellow photographer, Sarah, who stepped in for a few shots on the other side of the lens! Unluckily for her, I was her second model – I reckon she drew the short straw!
