On Monday we are holding the first full meeting of the North West Group of the SWPP. James Carter – http://www.weddingsbyjames.co.uk/ – and I have set up this group to provide a venue where local photographers can meet together for mutual support & encouragement.
Our first meeting is a “Bring a Print Night”. Each of us will bring along one image so we can give a critique of each other’s work in a friendly environment. In future we are hoping to have invited speakers or arrange practice shoots, as well as other low key social gatherings and the like.
We are very excited about this as we should have around 15 people at the first event, which is more than we really expected. There is also a number of others who are intending to come to future events. Please get in touch if you are interested in the group.
