I recently had the great privilege and joy of covering the wedding of Louise & John. They are a lovely couple, as charming as they are attractive, and they had planned a beautiful day. The ceremony took place at St David’s, Childwall and the reception at the Crowne Plaza, Speke. The hotel is a gorgeous art deco building which was the original Liverpool Airport terminal – the well-known scene of frenzied fans greeting the Fab Four in the 60s!

I am grateful to John & Louise for allowing me to share their big day and wish them all the very best for a long and happy life together. Their love for each other is radiant and they have the support of wonderful families as they enter into their married lives.

Last week I was lucky enough to have the privilege of doing 2 shoots with my friends Danielle & Rhiannon. They are both young actresses and their beauty and talent ensured it was a joy to photograph them.

For the shoot with Danielle, I was assisted by my daughter, Emma. We went to the industrial park at Brunswick Dock on the banks of the Mersey. It’s all based on original dock buildings & warehouses so it’s a great place for an urban/industrial atmosphere.

Danielle was great to work with, and her gorgeous, bubbly personality just shone through. Thanks, Danielle!

The shoot with Rhiannon was split between her home (thanks for the lovely Mango tea, Rhiannon!) and the Liverpool Botanic gardens car park – exotic! I have wanted to photograph Rhiannon since we first met a few years ago so it was great to finally have the opportunity. OUr friend, Becci, came along too and she and I alternated between the roles of photographer and assisitant – apologies to Becci if I was greedy with the time! Rhiannon was also a delight to work with – she is fun to be with and as charming as she is beautiful. Many thanks.
